Did you know that our Sports Complex is available for hire?

 

We cater for weddings, conferences, parties, corporate events, meetings with seated dining for up to 130 people.

 

We provide a quality venue complete with bar, kitchen, a spacious lounge with dance floor, plenty of parking etc., and all at a very reasonable rate.

 

Our bar features reasonably priced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

Licensed hours are from 10am til 1am but new licensing rules apply...read on...

For functions where the bar is required, an additional fee of $30 will be charged on top of the hirage fee, to cover the Special Licence fee we are charged by the council

The time the Kaipara District Council takes to process this has now been extended to 6 weeks - so if you would like to book an event, you need to give me at least 6 weeks notice.

The KDC will only grant a Special Licence for an event where 'substantial' food will be supplied to the guests ie: a full meal, not just nibbles & snacks.

So this is something to keep in mind before you book an event with us.


Please note we also have a defibrillator on site.  

It's located in  the public toilet block opposite the swimming pool so is available to the public 24/7

We hire out our kitchen at $10 per hour to groups who require a

commercially licensed kitchen for food preparation.

Our gymnasium is also available for hire at $30 per session.

 


Outside we have a great childrens play area with climbing frames,

swings, slides, monkey bars and climbing walls,

all in a childsafe wood chip environment.

Complex Hire Rates and Facility Information

Lounge hire alone is $90 (incl GST)
 
Lounge hire plus bar facilities plus kitchen facilities for self-catering is $115 (incl GST)
 
Lounge hire plus bar facilities plus in-house catering (Mark, Pam, Tony, Lindsey & team) is $175 (incl GST)
 
Lounge hire plus bar facilities plus outside caterers is $290 (incl GST)
 
Kitchen facilities Include: oven, steriliser, zip, several earnies, pie warmer, fridge/freezer, microwave and plenty of food preparation space.
 
Our capacity for a seated function is 130 - if not seated then maximum of 215 allowed in pavilion.
 
Toilets - we have mens & ladies toilets in the pavilion, Fitness Centre, rugby changing rooms, and outside next to the swimming pool. There are also 3 toilets in the ladies squash changing room.
 
Showers - rugby showers plus 3 showers in ladies squash changing room and 2 showers in mens squash changing room.
 
Disabled access -  the middle toilet in the pavilion has wheelchair access. All areas of the Complex are able to be accessed by a wheelchair if you park in the carpark next to the tennis courts, and take one of the ramps into the pavilion.
